Who are we?

Immaculate Heart of Mary is a Catholic Church of the Roman Rite. Established in 1946, IHM serves the communities of Los Alamos and White Rock in the County of Los Alamos, NM. St. Joseph's mission church serves the people of White Rock.


Live Your Faith Everyday

Live Your Faith Everyday (LYFE) University is an opportunity to learn and grow in faith and community. Enjoy dinner as a parish family and then participate in one of three study options:

  1. Mary, a Biblical Walk with the Blessed Mother, by Dr. Edward Sri. This video Catholic Bible study, filmed in the Holy Land, will bring you on an extraordinary pilgrimage, revealing Mary's unique role in God's Kingdom and in our lives. An optional Study Guide is available for $25 which includes on-line access to the videos.

  2. Why We Believe: Answering Common Questions about the Catholic Faith, Is Catholicism true? Or is it just made up? How can I explain the faith to my family or friends who no longer believe? This video series by Dr. Brant Pitre, addressing common question like "Does God Exist?", "How We Got the Bible", "Why Confess to a Priest?" and much more. No materials necessary.

  3. Letter to a Suffering Church, The sexual abuse scandal has gripped the Catholic Church for the past thirty years, and continues to wreak havoc even today. Many Catholics are understandably asking, “Why should I stay? In this study we will discuss Bishop Robert Barron’s assessment of the crisis and how we can respond. Each participant will be provided with a copy of the book.

LYFE U meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:00–8:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall, from September 17th to November 5th. We begin with dinner at 6:00pm.
