Who are we?

Immaculate Heart of Mary is a Catholic Church of the Roman Rite. Established in 1946, IHM serves the communities of Los Alamos and White Rock in the County of Los Alamos, NM. St. Joseph's mission church serves the people of White Rock.

Our Pastor

Fr. Glenn Jones

Fr. Glenn Jones was born in 1962 in Snyder TX. After growing up on his parents farm he graduated from Snyder High School. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and received a BA in History. With four years of NROTC, he entered the U.S. Marine Corps’ Officer Candidate School and was commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant.

After six years in the U.S. Marine Corps he resigned commission as captain to pursue civilian life. Returning to school at the University of Texas at Austin, he received a BS in Petroleum Engineering. He worked for Texaco in oil and gas exploration and production until the fall of 2003 when he entered Holy Apostles Seminary in Cromwell, CT to pursue his calling to the priesthood. In 2008 he graduated from the seminary with MA Theology.

In May 2008 he was ordained a Catholic priest for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. He has served as assistant pastor at Our Lady of Belen, as pastor of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton and as pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary in Los Alamos.
