Who are we?

Immaculate Heart of Mary is a Catholic Church of the Roman Rite. Established in 1946, IHM serves the communities of Los Alamos and White Rock in the County of Los Alamos, NM. St. Joseph's mission church serves the people of White Rock.

IHM's Response to the Covid-19 Pandemic


Masses at IHM are on our normal schedule
with the addition of a 7 am Sunday Mass in White Rock
and a 5:30 pm weekday Mass on Wednesday at IHM.

Masks are no longer required for those fully vaccinated.

One Mass each day will be live streamed. The schedule and videos
can be accessed on the Video Masses page.

Dispensation from Sunday obligation remains in effect.

Drive-Up Holy Communion

Each Sunday, after the 9:00 AM Mass, Fr. John will be present
near the Ten Commandments Monument between the Church and Rectory,
for 30 minutes to give communion to those who are not comfortable
attending Mass at this time. If you have questions please
call the Parish Office at 662-6193.


The Blessed Sacrament is exposed Monday through Friday
in the Adoration Chapel, 24 hour on Monday and Tuesday
and from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Wednesday through Friday.
All COVID safety practices are in effect.
